The higher tensile strength of carbon spokes allows us to reduce the total number of spokes while maintaining stiffness and durability.

FASTER RESPONSE AND POWER TRANSFER
Carbon spokes have significantly higher tensile strength and lower elasticity than steel. This reduces spoke wind-up under load, allowing power to reach the wheel more directly.
The result is sharper acceleration and more immediate response when sprinting or attacking, with 17% greater torsional stiffness compared to our steel-spoked LTD wheels.
LOWER WEIGHT, FASTER ACCELERATION
The increased strength of carbon spokes allows us to reduce the spoke count. Combined with their lower weight, this reduces the wheel’s rotational mass.
Lower rotational mass improves climbing efficiency and makes it easier to accelerate, helping the wheel respond instantly to changes in speed.
AERODYNAMIC GAINS
Carbon spokes allow wider, flatter profiles that reduce drag. Combined with fewer spokes, this decreases turbulence around the rotating wheel.
The result is measurable aerodynamic improvement, saving up to 2 watts compared to our current steel-spoked LTD wheels.
AND WHAT ABOUT COMFORT?
It is true that you can't escape the fact that more performance means less comfort. However we design, prototype, test, and build our wheels in the factory in our headquarters. This gives us unparalleled control over the whole process and lets us consider comfort from the start. Optimising details like rim design, spoke count and even the tension of the spokes, lets us give a balance of performance and control that sets our wheels apart.
